Pyramid Construction Services, Inc. served as the General Contractor for The Hershey Company’s new ingredient storage building at the West Hershey Plant.

The project entailed construction of a concrete and steel building designed to house two (2) 86’ tall product silos and three (3) conche (mixing) tanks. The construction site was adjacent to an active Plant and operating railroad spurs that service the Plant’s receiving bays. Precise coordination was required to minimize disruptions to the ongoing plant operations.

The project was completed in twelve (12) months.

On behalf of The Hershey Company project team, it was a pleasure working on this project with Pyramid….   The Pyramid team was very flexible and easy to work with.  This is my first project with Pyramid and I look forward to the next! John Ignatosky
